David Evans, DMD

A graduate of the University of Utah and Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine who then spent two years as a pediatric dental resident at Temple University Hospital. Dr. Evans is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and continues to pursue the life of full time private practice clinician and business owner of Pediatric Dental OKC in Oklahoma City, as well as an adjunct faculty member in pediatrics at The University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry. Dr. Evans enjoys meeting new people, traveling and being active with outdoor sporting involving all four seasons. He also enjoys and seeks opportunities to provide care to the under-served both domestically and internationally whenever opportunity allows. Over the last several years Dr. Evans has placed thousands of zirconia crowns with varying types of both simple and challenging cases. This experience has provided many learning opportunities and productive challenges with the goal of providing each and every patient the most esthetic, functional and healthy smile possible.

David Salar, DDS, DMD

Dr. David Salar is a board certified pediatric dentist who believes in providing dental care to children and adolescents in a gentle and compassionate manner. He graduated from Oregon Health and Sciences University in 2000 with a DMD degree. Following dental school, Dr. Salar worked as a general dentist in the greater Seattle area. Dr. Salar soon discovered the challenges that parents were facing in being able to find a pediatric dentist that would treat their children in a gentle, atraumatic manner. It was in this setting that he discovered his calling and passion to work with children and adolescents! This led to his completion of pediatric dental specialty training at Nova Southeastern University in 2006. During his tenure at Nova Southeastern University, he worked on research in the field of dental materials which was later published in the Journal of the American Dental Association. Immediately following his graduation from specialty training, he involved himself in the development and improvement of esthetic dental restorations for children. As such, his advice was sought out by one of the developers of.

Ray E. Stewart DMD, MS

Dr. Stewart has over 45 years of academic and clinical experience. With a DMD and an MS degree in Medical Genetics from the University of Oregon, Dr. Stewart joined the faculty at UCLA as Director of the Craniofacial Anomalies Clinic and Director of Pediatric Dentistry at UCLA-Harbor General Hospital. He has authored three books in pediatric dentistry and genetics, and his postdoctoral textbook, “Pediatric Dentistry: Scientific Foundations and Clinical Practice,” remains a must read for graduate students even today. Dr. Stewart left academia in 1982 to devote full time to private practice with Dr. Sanger in the central coastal area of California. After leaving clinical practice, Dr. Stewart became the Executive Director of the California Society of Pediatric Dentists and the California Society of Pediatric Dentistry Foundation. In 2015, he assumed the position of full professor at the University of California at San Francisco where he continues to enjoy a full schedule of clinical case work and teaching. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and a Fellow in AAPD.

William (Bill) F. Waggoner, DDS, MS

Dr. Waggoner has over 35 years of academic and clinical experience. With a DDS from West Virginia University and a MS degree in pediatric dentistry from the University of Iowa, Dr. Waggoner joined the faculty at the University of Oklahoma and then the University of Iowa, attaining the rank of Associate Professor and Director of the Children’s Dental Clinic. In 1996, Dr. Waggoner left academics and self-started a solo practice in Las Vegas. Today, he directs one of the largest pediatric group practices in Nevada. Dr. Waggoner has become one of the most sought after speakers both nationally and internationally on clinical pediatric dentistry, serving as a regular lecturer at the AAPD course for its general dentist affiliate members. The author of numerous textbook chapters and scientific articles and a consultant for various dental products companies, Dr. Waggoner keeps current on all the latest technology in clinical pediatric dentistry. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, a Fellow of AAPD, and an active member.
