Meet Our Team
Diane founded NuSmile in 1991. Under her leadership, the company has become the world’s leading manufacturer of esthetic pediatric crowns, with more than thirty international distributors. Throughout her career, she has had a passion for improving the clinical practice of pediatric dentistry as well as pediatric dental education. Diane is deeply involved in ongoing research of esthetic materials for crowns and other related pediatric dental products at both the academic and clinical level, and in interacting with her customers. She has been active with the ADA, AAPD, the AAPD Foundation’s Healthy Smiles, Healthy Children organization and other international pediatric organizations for over 20 years. Diane lives in Houston with her husband, Ray. Her son, Jason Johnson, is COO of NuSmile. She has two grandsons.
Jason, in addition to providing fiscal leadership for NuSmile, oversees all manufacturing, quality control and ISO certifications function globally. He is also heavily involved in product feasibility and design prior to and throughout NuSmile’s new product development process. Jason is heavily involved in NuSmile’s Pediatric Dentistry Graduate Residency support and educational programs. Prior to joining NuSmile, he served in various sales and marketing roles in the medical device manufacturing industry. Jason holds a B.A. degree in Communications, graduating Cum Laude from Concordia University in Austin, Texas. He and his wife Dandilei live in Houston with their two sons.
Mark is responsible for new product development, customer service, information technology and U.S. sales operations for NuSmile. Joining his sister Diane Krueger at NuSmile in 2014, his 30-plus years of corporate experience in product management, business development, marketing, and sales make him ideally suited to drive NuSmile’s product innovation, as well as manage NuSmile’s business relationships with corporate dental service organizations and large group practices. Mark holds a Chemical Engineering degree from the University of Texas at Austin. He and his wife Susan live in Houston and have three children and seven grandchildren.
Mike Loessberg began his journey with NuSmile in 2016 and has worked in the Dental Industry for the last 8 years. Having worked for companies like Dentsply, Carestream Dental and Henry Schein, Mike brings a wealth of knowledge to the NuSmile team. In his role Mike, will manage NuSmile’s Sales and Customer Service team for the United States and Canada. In addition, Mike will oversee our Dental Service Organization and University programs. Originally from Kingsville, TX and a graduate of Texas A&M University at Kingsville, Mike spends his free time traveling and visiting friends and family.
With over 14 years at NuSmile and over 20 years of customer service experience, Marylou leads NuSmile’s customer service team. Marylou’s personal goal, as well as that of her team, is to ensure that every one of NuSmile’s customers feels like family and experiences exceptional customer service every time they contact NuSmile, whether by phone, email or via the NuSmile website. “I love when our customers call us! Discussing NuSmile solutions with doctors and their staff, and being a part of a company that focuses on children’s needs is a passion for me”, says Marylou. Marylou has been married to her husband Pete for over thirty years. They have one daughter and one adorable grandson named Mikey. In her leisure time she enjoys connecting with friends and family on social media, spending quality time with family and watching her favorite football team, The Houston Texans.
Stefani, one of NuSmile’s dedicated Customer Service representatives, joined NuSmile in 2011 and brings 7+ years of experience in the customer service field. Stefani, along with all of the other NuSmile Customer Service Representatives, ensures that NuSmile’s customers receive excellent service at all times. Stefani says “ensuring that every NuSmile customer is satisfied with the service they receive is really important to me. I love being part of a company that is changing the lives of children one smile at a time. We are able to offer a child a natural looking smile, and as you know one smile can change your entire day.” When not at NuSmile, Stefani spends time with her 2yr old son Daniel. According to Stefani “he’s a ball of energy and his laugh always brings a smile to my face. We like to go to the park as often as possible and go down the slide at least 20 times in a row. Also, I like to get in some time to go shopping then just relax around the house.”
Courtney joined NuSmile in 2015 as one of NuSmile’s dedicated Customer Service representatives, ensuring that the needs of our customers are met and that they are always satisfied with our service. Courtney says “I love mid-afternoon at NuSmile, because we seem to get the busiest on the phones. A lot of our customers still call us to place their orders, and it’s great to get to know them personally. Talking with them is always the best part of the day.” When not at work Courtney spends time with her husband and sons usually playing video games, taking her dog Lola to the park, cooking, and dabbling in arts and crafts.
Nikki, who joined NuSmile in 2012, is responsible for US domestic sales activities including managing and organizing educational workshops and courses for all large group practices and corporate dental service organizations. Nikki is also responsible for NuSmile’s presence at organized dentistry events, helping to support the doctors NuSmile serves. She manages everything from behind the scene activities to attending and representing NuSmile at these events, to ensure NuSmile continues to be Clinician’s #1 choice for Esthetic Pediatric Crowns. Nikki says she considers the most important part of her role to be “to build strong relationships with individual dentists, as well as with large group practices and dental service organizations, helping them become confident in using esthetic crowns in their offices for their pediatric patients. It’s very rewarding to hear the satisfaction doctors receive when they use NuSmile products!” When not at NuSmile, Nikki enjoys spending time with her family, volunteering at The Ronald McDonald House Houston and spending every home game during football season at NRG Stadium cheering on the Houston Texans!
Liliana (Lily) joined Nusmile in 2012. Lily, a trained Dental Hygienist, is responsible for answering NuSmile customers’ clinical and product questions related to NuSmile solutions. An expert in the use of NuSmile products, Lily spends most of her time working with Dentists and their staff to ensure NuSmile products are being used successfully. Lily says, “Our connection with our customers is personal. NuSmile exists because of our customers, the pediatric dentists in the US and across the world. My goal is to serve them, their patients and the patients’ parents. I’m successful when I have been able to help them all have a great experience.” When away from work, Lily enjoys practicing yoga, cross fit, swimming and traveling.
Valerie manages the NuSmile Order Fulfillment team, and also provides assistance to the NuSmile Customer Service Team. Valerie began her career at NuSmile in 2010 in the manufacturing lab as a quality control specialist, giving her extensive knowledge of the quality and value NuSmile products have to offer. Valerie advanced from manufacturing to the order fulfillment department in 2012 to assist with NuSmile’s ZR Zirconia products. She brings years of experience to order fulfillment, shipping, quality assurance, and assisting in the management of NuSmile ZR inventory. Her goals are to ensure that every customer order is filled accurately and in a timely manner, to increase customer satisfaction, help build strong relationship and skills within her team, and to continue to represent the NuSmile integrity. “I enjoy the end of each day once every order has been completed on time because I feel that we have helped maintain continued loyalty and customer satisfaction.” explains Valerie. “When I’m not at work I enjoy Netflix nights with my family, catching up with old friends, and spending time outdoors with my Fiancé.”
Beginning his career at NuSmile in 1998, Alex held several positions in manufacturing, giving him intimate knowledge of NuSmile’s processes and quality system. Currently, Alex is responsible for all distributor programs, sales and marketing in South and Central America. With NuSmile’s focus on development and support of our world-class dental products distributor network, Alex’s work with NuSmile’s distributors across the region are integral to NuSmile’s mission to support pediatric dentistry around the world. Actively involved in many dental associations across the region and also with many leading university residency programs, Alex assists these organizations and institutions in bringing cutting edge NuSmile solutions to all pediatric dentists in the region. Alex states, ”A favorite part of my job is working with my NuSmile distributors as well as leading practitioners across Latin America every day. It’s great to connect with all of my friends and colleagues in the industry through social media. It helps me know that NuSmile is reaching a larger audience that are benefitting from NuSmile products!” When not traveling in Latin America, Alex loves to cook, hang out with the family, watch movies, listen to music, and landscape.
Oralia began her career at NuSmile in 2007 in Order Fulfilment, ultimately managing this department. Currently, Oralia is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with International Distributors and potential International Distributors. Oralia also provides administrative assistance to the NuSmile International Sales Team. “Providing excellent service to our great network of international distributors and developing a personal relationship with them is my top priority,” says Oralia. “I love knowing that I am able to assist our International Distributors to expand the use of NuSmile products across the world, making a positive impact in the lives of young dental patients.” When away from work Oralia enjoys reading, spending quality time her my husband Eddie, and most importantly hanging out with her children and granddaughter.
